Required

Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Preferred

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Mechanical or Industrial engineering experience/coursework
Experience working in a assembly focused manufacturing environment
Proficiency with digital tools, including PLM, ERP, MES, IoT, augmented reality, and simulation software
Ability to analyze process data for trends and insights, utilizing tools like statistical analysis software
Understanding of robotics and automation systems, including programming and integration skills
Familiarity with AI and ML applications in manufacturing processes for predictive maintenance and quality control
Knowledge and application of lean and kaizen methodologies to minimize waste and maximize productivity
Proficiency in managing continuous improvement projects, including experience with methodologies like agile or scrum
Strong analytical and critical thinking ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventative solutions
Expertise in managing organizational change and stakeholder engagement effectively
