Director of Business Development

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the wireless sales team, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development
Lead a team of wireless sales representatives to prospect and sell to new business customers
Demonstrate high energy, positivity, leadership, and excellent communication skills in guiding the team
Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs; implement corrective actions to address shortfalls in pipeline and monthly quota
Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, share best practices, and motivate the team
Ensure compliance with Granite’s CRM requirements in Salesforce.com
Collaborate with internal departments (customer support, engineering, PMO) to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and service delivery
Provide regular updates to senior sales management on wireless sales results

Required

Bachelor's degree required
3–5 years of proven sales experience within the telecommunications or technology industry
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a sales team and achieving sales targets
Willingness to travel as needed
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Results-oriented with a strong drive for success and achievement
Adaptable and flexible, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
High ethical standards and integrity
