Responsibilities

Leading and managing a team of engineers including resource allocation and performance management
Identifying and resolving technical roadblocks and challenges, supporting the team in problem-solving and decision-making
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development
Encouraging a culture of innovation and creativity, promoting experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical)
8+ years of related experience
Led a team of engineers in the past
Successfully executed at least 3 end-to-end product launches in medical device industry with no major quality issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Expert in Solidworks or equivalent CAD tools is highly preferred
Creativity, communication and teamwork skills
Time management abilities
