Manufacturing Engineer (Early Careers)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement technical solutions for complex manufacturing challenges
Provide manufacturing engineer support for production integration and supplier-related issues
Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to resolve non-conformances
Design tooling and production plans using standard manufacturing engineering methodologies
Support product development activities for manufacturing, which include quoting, tooling design, configuration changes, and first article inspections
Deliver measurable results aligned with manufacturing program and value stream objectives
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
Champion Lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement through various manufacturing processes
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fields
3+ months of professional experience in aerospace parts manufacturing engineering
Experience with composite materials or equivalent engineered materials (e.g., fiber-reinforced polymers, laminates, or hybrid structures) in a manufacturing or product development environment
Must be a US Persons (US Citizen, Green Card Holder / US permanent resident, refugee or asylee) to meet export control compliance requirements

Preferred

GKN Aerospace experience
Strong continuous improvement mindset and results-driven approach
Ability to work independently across diverse manufacturing environments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience mentoring or coaching team members
Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and sound judgment
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
