Responsibilities
Coordinating with clients, co-workers, and partners for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) implementation assurance and reporting
Collaborating in establishing data-driven ESG goals, milestones, and metrics as applicable for the client's organization
Performing sustainability-related assurance procedures such as evaluating and testing processes and related controls
Supporting corporate reporting in line with recognized ESG standards and frameworks such as GHG Protocol, TCFD, GRI, SASB, CDP
Participating in client meetings and assisting in the preparation of reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in accounting or a related business discipline with a focus on sustainability, climate, and ESG preferred
Familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting criteria
Experience with external financial or sustainability assurance
Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred
CPA License, or CPA eligible
Understanding of or experience with ESG reporting software
Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential (FSA credential)
Prior experience in a consulting firm or prior experience with internal sustainability
