Responsibilities

Performs allocation and staffing functions regarding the placement of Staffing Resource Center (SRC) float pool staff in addition to facilitating core unit staff floating throughout Patient Care Services as back-up for the Resourcing Specialists
Functions accomplished through use of allocation report tool and collaboration with SRC Resourcing Specialists, Psychiatry, and VPO Leads
Requires analytical skills to gather information and validate clinical skill mixes to match unit requirements
Proactively communicates with SRCs personnel pool to maximize productivity and match SRC staff with unit/system demands
Responsible for the coordination of the SRCs employee shifts and for promoting inter-relationships with directors, administrative supervisors, clinical supervisors, and nursing staff in dealing with staffing issues
Maintains staffing schedules, prepares staffing allocation reports, obtains real time unit census, safety tech orders and VST orders from EPIC
Performs timely scheduling software data entry upon completion of staffing to ensure proper cost center and location for payroll and report generation accuracy
Assures that schedules are maintained for the Nurses, CNAs and safety techs through scheduling software

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience working in an office setting
Need schedule flexibility to provide adequate coverage outside of normal business hours
Basic analytical and administrative skills required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Able to learn other computer programs easily and utilizes such programs on a daily basis
Utilizes analytical skills and strategies to increase desired performance results
Maximizes resources and anticipates outcome
Must be goal and performance driven with strong decisive work ethic and astuteness
Professional and courteous with excellent inter-personal communication skills and phone etiquette
Positive and supportive in high stress situations with other team members and stakeholders
Ability to work and communicate across functional boundaries and have strong business acumen
Excellent time management and organizational skills, combined with a high degree of interpersonal skills
