This role involves managing the entire M&A process, from target identification to deal execution and integration.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end M&A process, managing all phases of transactions from sourcing and initial outreach through valuation, diligence, deal execution, and post-close handoff to the integration team

Develop and manage a proprietary M&A pipeline aligned with Loenbro’s long-term growth strategy through proactive prospecting and relationship building with business owners and intermediaries

Lead initial financial and operational assessments, including valuation modeling, deal structuring, and investment thesis development

Serve as the primary point of contact for target company owners, building trust and guiding discussions from first meeting through signed agreements

Prepare and present investment materials for internal leadership and Board review, including LOI recommendations and transaction approvals

Lead comprehensive due diligence efforts post-LOI, coordinating cross-functional internal teams and third-party advisors to evaluate financial, operational, legal, and commercial risks

Coordinate the drafting, negotiation, and execution of transaction documents, including purchase agreements and related closing materials

Partner closely with the integration team, supporting integration diligence and ensuring a smooth transition and handoff following deal close

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations
