Electrical Superintendent- Data Center

Responsibilities

Oversee on-site installation of electrical systems across all phases of construction
Manage foremen, field crews, subcontractors, and daily work plans
Drive schedule execution, productivity, and milestone completion
Ensure compliance with NEC, safety standards, QA/QC protocols, and client specifications
Coordinate material deliveries, tool tracking, and site logistics
Resolve field issues and collaborate closely with project management and commissioning teams
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and inspection documentation
Represent the company in on-site meetings with GCs, owners, and inspectors

Required

8-10+ years of electrical construction experience, with at least 3+ in a superintendent role
Proven success on large-scale infrastructure or data center projects ($50M+)
Deep understanding of mission-critical electrical systems (HV/MV/LV, UPS, generators, etc.)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Familiar with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling platforms
Excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make sound engineering judgments
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and adherence to project deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Proficiency in using software applications for design, analysis, and documentation (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks)
Ability to work independently and in a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, working knowledge of iPad type instruments and various M/E industry 'Apps'
Know electrical systems basics and have a good working knowledge of NEC
Must be able to climb permanent and temporary stairs, ladders, crouch, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
Must also be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
Must be able to utilize close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focus
Requires regular use of hands for inspection purposes
Must have a solid understanding of jobsite risks and know/adhere to appropriate safety protocol at all times
Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time

Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Frequently required to wear a respirator
Frequently required to work in confined spaces
Continually required to walk- up to 10 miles per day
Continually required to talk or hear

Occasionally work in high, precarious places
Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals

You must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection
Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed
