Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of Microchip’s design data management software
Assist in the implementation and enhancement of design flows and methodologies
Develop and deploy automation scripts to support electronic circuit design
Administer Design Data Management Systems such as DesignSync and ICManage
Research and utilize software tools and libraries to address various tasks, preferably using Python
Debug and maintain existing software tools and systems
Prepare technical documentation
Train users on the adoption of developed solutions

Object-oriented programmingPythonGNU/Linux commandsVersion control toolsSQLNoSQL databasesMachine learningCommunication

Required

Final-year student or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
0-3 years of professional experience
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Perl
Experience with common GNU/Linux commands and command-line operations
Willingness to adopt new development tools to improve collaboration and workflow
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with version control tools (such as GIT, SVN, or CVS) is a plus
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus
Exposure to machine learning or artificial intelligence is a plus
