Responsibilities

Provide networking architecture support for a DoD enterprise cloud environment

Support the onboarding / configuration of new tenants, including network routing, DNS, and cloud load-balancer configuration

Work with DoD stakeholders to manage / operate BCAP and IAP connectivity for cloud-hosted applications

Act as a mentor for junior cloud and networking engineers

Required

Knowledge of DoD Cloud networking requirements, including VDSS/VDMS

Understanding of cloud connectivity architecture, including BCAP and IAP

Expert knowledge of AWS cloud networking concepts, including best practices for VPC/subnet layout, cloud ingress/egress

Expertise with DNS configuration and management, as well as IPv4 and IPv6 addressing

Experience with TLS 1.2, 1.3

Experience connecting cloud enclaves with DoD networks across NIPR, SIPR, and other environments

SSL and certificate management

Must possess a TS or higher clearance

Preferred

Expertise with AWS GovCloud architecture (Unclassified & secret)
