Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise tasks related to the preservation, maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of several commercial and mixed-use properties in the Fitchburg and Madison area

Areas of interest include general repairs, fire safety, HVAC, landscaping & snow removal, janitorial, trash & recycling, telco, security, and the exterior maintenance and repair of parking lots, siding, masonry, caulk, power washing, and stormwater infrastructure

Required

Ability to perform routine building inspections and property walkthroughs

Basic understanding of coordinating vendors and maintenance staff

Oversight of projects and/or large ongoing repairs

Strong communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and internal teams

Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to track service contracts and maintenance requests

Ability to assist with processing maintenance time and basic billing information

Comfort using computer systems and software like Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; experience with property management software or willingness to learn

Interest in tracking utilities and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Reliable, professional, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
