Automotive Repair Technician | No Weekends!

Main Street Auto is seeking a skilled and dedicated B Technician to join their team. The B Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal functioning of equipment and vehicles.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, vehicles, or machinery to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical problems and develop effective solutions
Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on mechanical components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems
Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend appropriate repairs
Collaborate with team members to coordinate repair schedules and ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment
Document all repairs, maintenance procedures, and parts used accurately and efficiently
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and techniques to enhance technical knowledge and skills
Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients' concerns and inquiries in a professional manner
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, tools, and equipment

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a technician, mechanic, or similar role
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vehicle components, and repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Physical stamina and agility to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred

Technical or vocational training/certification in automotive technology or related field
State inspection certified
