Responsibilities
Sell our products to current customers in the region through a focus on customer service
Grow sales by increasing our customer base to new customers - as an Outside Sales Representative you will be expected to call on potential new customers throughout the territory
Communicate the needs of the customer with the branch to better ensure optimized product mix and increase future sales
Communicate with inside sales staff to ensure a coordinated and synchronized sales effort
Accompany vendors’ sales representatives as needed, calling on appropriate customer accounts to satisfy vendor concerns
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6-10 years sales experience, ideally in an outside sales or territory sales representative role
Ideally in the construction sales industry or building materials industry
Knowledge of millwork and understand 2-step distribution
Ability to travel as needed throughout the territory
Excellent customer service skills
Interest in working for a company that values hard work and loyalty
Competitive with a drive to win
Safety Sensitive position, subject to routine drug screening
