The role involves preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and supporting bid submissions, with senior candidates providing leadership within the estimating team.

Responsibilities
Prepare electrical takeoffs, detailed estimates, and bid documentation
Assist with pre-bid reviews, scope clarification, and bid submissions
Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing
Respond to RFIs and support preconstruction efforts
Review drawings and specifications to identify scope, risks, and cost impacts
Conduct job site visits as needed to confirm scope, materials, and constructability
Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up throughout the bid process
Review and approve estimates prior to submission
Identify risk, scope gaps, and pricing exposure
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators
Support client, vendor, and subcontractor relationship management
Qualification
Required
Commercial electrical estimating experience - open to Industrial backgrounds
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
Effective communication and follow-up skills
Preferred
Experience with estimating software and Excel
