The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical estimating experience and will be responsible for analyzing drawings, preparing cost estimates, and managing bids in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
Prepare and complete all pre-bid documentation
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and quotes
Prepare, submit, and follow up on bids — follow-up is critical to success in this role
Respond to RFIs and client questions during the preconstruction phase
Identify scope gaps, risks, and pricing concerns within estimates
Present bid risks and issues to senior leadership as needed
Participate in job site walk-throughs to confirm scope, materials, and site conditions
Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of commercial electrical estimating experience (junior to mid-level)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and specifications
Experience performing electrical takeoffs and bid preparation
Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy
Estimating software experience required
Preferred
Accubid/ConEst strongly preferred
Bluebeam experience preferred
