The position involves preparing AIA pay applications, managing lien waivers, and ensuring timely payments for project-based work while collaborating with project managers and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
Prepare and submit monthly progress billings (AIA G702/G703), service invoices, and change orders
Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on past-due accounts, and communicate with clients (GCs/owners) about payment status
Process daily cash receipts, apply payments, and reconcile customer accounts
Collect and manage subcontractor/vendor lien waivers and releases
Generate weekly/monthly AR reports, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and support month-end close
Maintain professional communication with client AP departments
Update customer files, maintain accurate billing documentation, and support audit compliance
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
Understanding of construction billing cycles, retainage, and lien laws
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with AIA billing and job cost accounting
