Responsibilities
Identifies consumer, salon, and technological trends globally
Encompasses a haircare metier sensitivity: esthetic sense, interest in product/ formulation
Generates innovative ideas and concepts for products / services that bring value to the professional salon industry & resonate with haircare consumers
Conducts competitive analysis
Collaborates cross-functional capacity, ability to work with creative talent
Collaborates with Education, Testing, R&D, Corporate, Countries and Zones in refining new ideas and concepts
Participates and leads steps of development process: positioning, formulation, packaging, claims, communication, and merchandising
Gathers consumer & stylist insights via market research and community tools in partnership with the CMI team
Navigates complexity and prioritizes workload with autonomy
Qualification
Required
You hold a college degree, preferably in business or creative fields such as BBA, BFA, BA, or AAS, with a high school diploma as a minimum requirement
7+ years related Marketing experience, preferably with beauty industry
Visual sense of esthetics, attention to detail, ability to make quick decisions, problem solve, multi-task, lead and influence peers + partners
Exceptional knowledge of professional beauty industry along with products and content that performs best. This includes understanding of metrics and performance measures for all distribution channels
Preferred
College degree (BFA, BA, or AAS) in marketing preferred
Experience in hair care and/or hair styling marketing preferred
