Facilities Project Manager - Maryland

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is looking for a Facilities Project Manager to assist in the management and oversight of operational and capital improvement projects. The role involves overseeing project life cycles, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring project goals are met within budget and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Oversee the life cycle of each phase of facilities projects, remodels, and other special projects to include requirements, budget development, design, implementation, acceptance and closeout
Develops and designs feasibility studies for review and prepares various contracts, request for proposals, and reports
Coordinate and oversee contractors providing contract services during project execution to ensure that requirements are accomplished on time, to the specified quality, and within budget
Complete building and property condition assessments, design of repairs to existing building envelope components including: roofs, curtain walls, masonry, Exterior Insulation and Finishing system (EIFS) and entrances
Lead and support teams effort in the execution of projects to ensure the performance goals and expectations are met and are on time and with minimal interruption to operations
Review purchase requisitions and decide most effective/efficient methods of purchase. Ensure requisition of within authorized allowance and meets all criteria as established by leadership

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in facilities, consulting, and the management of building facilities projects is required
Ability to read/write memos and reports
Ability to answer telephones in a professional manner
Ability to multitask
De-escalation skills
Ability to demonstrate empathy to patrons
Good customer service skills
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment
Ability to be alert at all times
Dexterity will be required to perform day to day activities and during an emergency
License: Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to ascend and descend stairs
Ability to work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Management Materials, Property Management, Business Administration, Mechanical or related field preferred
Experience working in commercial or retail, high traffic facilities preferred
