Responsibilities
Collaborating with design management to actively gain experience, enhance design skills and increase knowledge of Nike's design philosophy, products and processes
Partnering with category team members in design, development and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price point, merchandising needs and product creation timelines
Engaging with project teammates on researching, gaining insights, problem solving around performance and manufacturing, working with consumers and creating a vast range of creative and beautiful solutions that are also sustainable and considerate of cost
Participating and presenting the work in informal and formal reviews
Collaborating and engaging the innovation partners and consumers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in design, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
Ability to apply and perform design skills such as drawing/sketching, ideation, visual presentation development and layout
Passion for Culture, Music, Art, Sneakers, Streetwear
Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills
Must be able to create accurate 2D technical drawings
Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project
Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc
Positive personality and energy
Contribute and align to shared team culture and behaviors
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST SUBMIT A FOOTWEAR DESIGN FOCUSED PORTFOLIO
Preferred
1+ years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products preferred
Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus
3D knowledge, and AI experience a plus
Experience in technical footwear design - is a plus
3D design programs experience is a plus
