Responsibilities
Providing advanced technical expertise and leadership in hydraulic system modeling, planning, design, permitting, construction, and advanced system monitoring of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems
Applying general knowledge of basic engineering theories, principles, and methods while performing complex engineering work with a high level of independence, ensuring that projects comply with federal, state, and tribal regulations
Providing strategic guidance on master planning, capital improvement projects, and long-term infrastructure development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline
A minimum of four (4) years of experience working as an Engineer in water/wastewater/stormwater with hydraulic modeling focus
Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License
Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Be willing to respond during the event of an emergency
Preferred
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and ESRI (GIS) software packages
Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Aquanuity and / or WaterGEMS as well as Microsoft software packages, particularly Excel
