Post Doctoral Scholar - AI for Health
The Ohio State University is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to join the AI(X) Hub, a university-wide initiative focused on advancing research and education in artificial intelligence. The role involves conducting research and development in AI for health, collaborating with faculty, students, and industry partners, and contributing to the Hub's strategic directions and proposal writing.

Responsibilities
Conducts research and development efforts as a Post Doctoral Scholar at the AI(X) Hub
Actively work with faculty members, research scientists, students, and industry and government partners
Help to chart exciting new directions for the Hub
Work with domain experts
Help with proposal writing and other reporting requirements on AI for Health research and projects
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Integrated Systems Engineering, Physics, or equivalent computing-centric disciplines with demonstrated experience in health sciences
Inter-disciplinary research experience with a focus on health sciences and biomedicine and artificial intelligence (including machine learning)
Preferred
Publications in health sciences and biomedical journals
Demonstrable interdisciplinary research experience
Deep understanding of machine learning (ML) methods along with other classical computational and statistical tools
Experience of deploying ML workflows at scale on high-performance computing clusters
Extensive biomedical and health sciences knowledge
Experience in grant writing and development for health-related opportunities
