Responsibilities
Intern Project: Refinement of Plant Layout
Expected Deliverables: Completely updated layout of the entire Mosley fabrication/assembly shops
How does this project benefit Powell or your functional area? This will allow our team to more accurately plan future machine purchases as well as layout production areas for more efficiency
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
Rising Junior or Senior continuing studies in Fall 2027
Minimum 3.0 GPA and strong academic standing
Team player with strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with a dependable, can-do attitude
Preferred
Experience with Six Sigma
CAD
Process improvement fundamentals
