Responsibilities

Support detector production testing according to test requirements, work instructions and test procedures

Contribute to test setup optimization, capability development, equipment setup, maintenance, and calibration

Log and record data with a manufacturing execution system

Position and move dewars weighing up to 35 lbs. as needed for dewar loading/unloading, filling/emptying liquid cryogens, and mounting/unmounting from test stations

Load and unload parts from cryogenic dewars with hand tools

Inspect, prepare, and use high vacuum fittings and O-rings

Required

Basic understanding of electrical testing and optics

Ability to work an offset shift between first and second shift

Excellent communication and decision-making skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

High School Diploma with 3 years or an associate's degree with 1 year of electrical testing experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to access restrictions

Preferred

Preferred experience with radiometry and/or spectrometry and using digital multimeters, source meters, ammeters, liquid cryogens, cryostats, and/or high vacuum equipment
