Senior Human Resources Manager

Sunrise Foods International is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead their HR operations across the U.S. organization. This hands-on role focuses on operational delivery and strategic partnership, requiring the successful candidate to build and improve HR practices while managing employee relations and recruitment.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day HR operations for the U.S. organization, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and follow-through
Personally manage employee relations matters, investigations, performance management issues, and documentation
Build, standardize, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and workflows
Oversee onboarding, offboarding, compliance activities, and HR systems administration
Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws
Partner with Finance on headcount management, workforce cost tracking, and people data accuracy
Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, commercial, and operational roles
Support hiring managers with role clarity, assessment, and onboarding effectiveness
Drive early-tenure performance integration and role accountability
Administer salary reviews, incentive plans, benefits, and recognition programs in alignment with company guidelines
Support variable compensation program rollout and administration
Ensure disciplined, fair, and market-aligned people decisions
Partner with the CEO and leadership team on workforce planning, performance effectiveness, and organizational needs
Translate business priorities into practical, executable HR initiatives
Identify gaps in people practices and incrementally build scalable solutions
Support culture, engagement, and leadership effectiveness through consistent people practices
Act as the primary U.S. HR liaison with global HR counterparts, ensuring alignment while respecting local requirements

Required

8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR Manager or equivalent roles

Proven ability to partner with senior leaders while remaining hands-on
Bachelor's degree required

Preferred

Experience in commercial, manufacturing, or agricultural preferred
Experience working in global or cross-border organizations preferred
