Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with Ericsson’s strategic objectives
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure flawless execution
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and maintain cost controls
Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
Lead project meetings including status reviews, risk assessments, and post-mortems
Drive clear and effective communication across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients
Apply Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies based on project needs
Ensure compliance with Ericsson’s project management governance and standards

Required

VMware → Alternate Hypervisor Migration Experience
Hands-on leadership executing migrations off VMware, including planning, cutover, validation, and rollback strategies
Experience managing production workloads during hypervisor transitions
Platform / Infrastructure Migration Tooling
Experience using migration frameworks, automation tools, and dependency mapping in large-scale enterprise environments
Ability to coordinate tooling outputs across infrastructure, application, and network teams
Virtualization & Hypervisor Architecture Expertise
Strong understanding of hypervisor architecture, performance tuning, and workload optimization
Ability to assess post-migration performance, capacity, and stability risks
Data Center / Cloud Hybrid Environments
Proven experience managing migrations across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud platforms
Demonstrated success delivering migrations without service disruption
Risk, Cutover & Timeline Management Under Vendor Constraints
Experience leading accelerated migrations driven by vendor exits, licensing changes, or compliance mandates
Strong risk management, cutover governance, and stakeholder communication skills
5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in telecommunications, IT, or technology environments
Proven success managing multiple, complex infrastructure or migration projects
Strong attention to detail with consistent on-time delivery
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
PMP or PRINCE2 certification required

Preferred

Exposure to Industry 4.0 initiatives is a strong plus
