This role focuses on customer interaction, problem-solving, and driving sales through strong relationships and follow-through, while assisting customers with equipment rentals both at the counter and over the phone.

Responsibilities
Assist customers at the rental counter and over the phone with equipment and product rentals
Respond to inbound sales and rental inquiries via phone and email
Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers
Identify customer needs and recommend the right equipment solutions
Provide detailed product information including features, benefits, pricing, and safety items
Prepare and process rental and sales orders accurately and efficiently
Follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales
Coordinate with operations and sales teams to ensure timely equipment delivery
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate when needed
Maintain accurate customer and sales records in CRM systems
Provide regular sales updates to the Branch Manager
Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends
Participate in training to continuously improve sales and product expertise
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong customer service mindset with a sales-driven attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Comfortable using CRM software, MS Office, and general computer applications
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
At least 2 years of yard experience, preferably in the equipment rental industry or at an equipment dealership
Proven experience in inside sales (equipment industry preferred)
Ability to commute to Corona, CA 92882
