Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and implement a diversified activity program, including recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents
Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address the needs of residents, and develop individualized activity plans accordingly
Supervise and coordinate activity staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure the effective delivery of activities
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, vendors, and local businesses to enhance our activity offerings
Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of activity programs to ensure quality, relevance, and resident satisfaction
Participate in marketing and promotional activities to increase awareness and participation in our activity programs
Qualification
Required
Must hold Activity Director Certification
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong preference for experience in senior living or healthcare settings
Must be a certified Activity Director for LTC/SNF
