AoPS Academy is a year-round educational enrichment program seeking a Math Teaching Assistant to support student learning in an engaging classroom environment. The role involves assisting instructors, providing one-on-one student support, and maintaining classroom organization.

Responsibilities

Assist instructors with company-created curriculum and materials, helping advanced students grasp complex concepts

Work one-on-one with students during class activities and provide additional help when needed

Help maintain an organized learning environment and assist in managing up to 16 students

Assist with grading and providing constructive feedback on student work

Connect with students and staff members to encourage their learning journey and academic growth

Help create an environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity

Required

Must be 16 years old or older

Possess strong math skills with the ability to help students navigate advanced concepts

Candidates must be located in Irvine or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus
