United Airlines is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to join their Technical Operations team. In this role, you will provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance to ensure the fleet is flight-ready.

Responsibilities

Provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, Powerplant, Airframe and Components
Handle a wide variety of duties including inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, as well as routine maintenance
Collaborate professionally and seamlessly with co-workers
Work out in the elements, handling weather extremes
Participate in initial training, specialty classes and recurrent training in technical areas and on other topics such as ethics and compliance
Transfer to other locations within the outstanding network after gaining seniority
Be available for any shift within a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays
Work mandatory overtime when necessary

Required

High School Diploma or GED/Educational Equivalent
FAA A&P License
Valid US Drivers License
Computer literacy
Must pass a background check and drug screen upon contingent job offer

The ability to access elevated aircraft areas via ladders, lift trucks, boom lifts and other devices
The strength to lift 50 pounds, physical flexibility and the ability to work in confined spaces
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
