Responsibilities

Develop and sustain backend systems prioritizing scalability and performance
Compose, build, and optimize RESTful APIs, ensuring robust error handling and versioning
Implement and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema development and query optimization
Apply caching strategies and asynchronous data processing for improved efficiency
Launch, track, and control applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ensure secure authentication and authorization through standards such as OAuth2 and JWT
Debug, optimize, and improve backend performance for high-traffic applications
Combine front-end technologies through Angular (v10+) or React (hooks-based), incorporating TypeScript, RxJS, or Redux
Work together with cross-functional groups to ensure smooth integration of REST or GraphQL APIs
Adhere to responsive build principles and accessibility standards across various browsers
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals

Required

Over 7 years of professional experience in software development, focusing primarily on backend systems and including involvement in full-stack development
Deep expertise in backend technologies such as Python or .NET Core (C#), building scalable microservices and distributed systems
Solid understanding of RESTful API development, versioning, and robust error handling
Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including schema development and query optimization
Experience with caching techniques (Redis, Memcached) and asynchronous data handling
Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment, storage, and monitoring
Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT
Established experience in identifying issues, refining, and elevating backend performance for applications with heavy traffic
Front-end expertise in Angular (v10+) or React (hooks-based), incorporating TypeScript, RxJS, or Redux
Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, plus experience with build tools (Webpack, npm, Vite)
Experience connecting REST or GraphQL APIs and handling asynchronous data flows
Knowledge of responsive development, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach for working across teams
Passion for building reliable, scalable services that improve customer experience in the streaming/video domain
