CNC Machinist (Wednesday - Saturday)

Responsibilities

Operate equipment such as CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce manufactured parts primarily out of aluminum and titanium
Take measurements to adequately ensure the accurate set-up, with the use of tools such as; gauges, calipers, indicators and micrometers
Maintains specifications by observing drilling and cutting; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Set up and trouble shoot 5-axis machines for large complex parts
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible milling experience
Possess basic math and geometry knowledge
Be able to read blueprints, follow work order and verbal instructions
Operate equipment such as CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce manufactured parts primarily out of aluminum and titanium
Take measurements to adequately ensure the accurate set-up, with the use of tools such as gauges, calipers, indicators and micrometers
Maintain specifications by observing drilling and cutting; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
Set up and troubleshoot 5-axis machines for large complex parts
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)

Preferred

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Certification from an accredited technical college a plus
Aerospace industry experience is a plus
Elementary knowledge of engineering principles helpful
