Sales Manager Collision Avoidance Systems Mining
PBE Axell is seeking a Sales Manager for North America to develop the sales of their collision avoidance systems within the mining sector. This role involves driving sales growth through innovative techniques, building strategic relationships, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities
Drive sales and marketing efforts by engaging current customers with a focus on growing business in new markets
Develop, recommend and implement sales and marketing tactics to include distributor training, trade shows and other customer communication that will drive revenue growth
Build, develop and maintain strategic relationships to cultivate new partnerships and customers in diverse industries
Develop sales plans/projections based on strategic plans, establish operational sales targets linked to plan, and monitor/report performance
Establish new markets, increase customer base, and expand overall sales presence by identifying new opportunities
Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
Collaborates with Director of Sales to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines
Partner with internal purchasing, quoting and production staff to ensure the delivery of a quality product, on time and on budget
Establish a budget and work within the constraints to maximize customer interaction and support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Five (5) years sales and/or sales management experience of tangible, industrially applied products
Familiarity with developing distribution channels and successful sales plans
Self-motivated, dedicated individual with outstanding interpersonal skills
Must have 5+ years of new B2B tangible product sales within the leaky feeder and collision avoidance market with a proven track record of customer base growth and retention, goal attainment and achieving/exceeding sales targets
Ability to travel 50% - Air Travel and auto
Have easy access to a major airport with minor commute times
Strong technical aptitude and ability to comprehend and lead technical discussions
Strong written and verbal communication skills; competent with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Extensive, established network of distributors, potential partners and industry contacts in the mining and construction industry
Experience with confined space communications in the mining and tunneling industry
General understanding of DAS, LTE and Leaky Feeder communication systems
Background in sales and business development with an engineering product / system focus
Experience with communications networks and safety/productivity systems in the mining, construction, and general industrial markets
