Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency

Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

Ensure integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP

Identify and resolve accounting issues; recommend and implement corrective actions

Prepare and review monthly financial statements and executive reporting packages

Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization

Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures

Drive process efficiencies and automation within accounting and reporting

Partner with Finance leadership on ERP, POS, and system enhancements

Establish scalable accounting practices to support growth and new store openings

Act as a trusted finance partner to Store Operations, HR, Payroll, and corporate teams

Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with Finance leadership

Required

5+ years of experience of progressive accounting experience

Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in accounting, or finance

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, financial analysis)

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable)

Strong understanding of POS and inventory management systems

Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical judgment

Experience in preparing financial statements according to US GAAP and Italian GAAP and working with internal and external audit

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Problem-solving and decision making with proactivity and self-direction
