Responsibilities
Work with CFO to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements including month and year-end close-outs, financial reports, organizational and departmental budgets, and reports used by Executive team
Responsibilities include oversight/management of the following: annual audits, client accounting support, tax compliance & planning, long-range planning, insurance, risk management and return on investment analysis
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements; manage financial systems in accordance with GAAP
Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards, approve and coordinate changes and improvements in financial information systems
Enhance and ensure compliance with finance, accounting, billing, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
Lead team and departmental leaders in identifying and implementing operational and system needs to scale organization; develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and operational projects and systems
Recruit, train, develop, supervise and evaluate Finance/Accounting departmental staff; collaborate with support departments

Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working as an Accounting Director or equivalent role in a legal environment and/or e-Discovery provider environment
Accounting related 4 year degree or exceeding
Strong background in systems/systems implementations
Strong modeling, forecasting, analysis and budgeting experience
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States
Willingness and ability to stand, sit, and view computer screen for hours at a time
Preferred
Familiarity with e-Discovery billing
Highly Preferred Software Proficiencies: Sage Intacct, QuickBooks
Additional Preferred Software Proficiencies: Anytime Collect, Yooz Rising, Avalara, Nexonia, Navan, Hotel Engine, SAP Concur, ADP, Solaria
