Responsibilities
Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers for database management systems
Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations
Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving ability and customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Basic mentoring skills for providing support and constructive feedback
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed
Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software
Proficiency in computer development software across multiple platforms
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5–7 years of relevant experience
Preferred
Understanding of mobile hydraulics used on earthmoving machinery
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
