Corporate Controller
The company is a highly successful and growing firm in West Los Angeles, specializing in investment management and real estate. They are seeking a Corporate Controller to manage accounting activities, work closely with the CEO and CFO, and ensure financial strength and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Direct most accounting and office management/operations for a large portfolio of assets
Very high on the priority list is to formalize policies to control and coordinate accounting, AP, AR, GL, and month-end close related activities
Develop and administer procedures and systems - implement these new systems to ensure efficiencies and streamline processes
Prepare financial statements, maintain all accounting records, and develop, analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information
Qualification
Required
10-20 or more years of total professional accounting/bookkeeping/office management experience
Experience overseeing and performing accounting, bookkeeping, and operations
Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to adapt to various situations
Demonstrated strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Prior supervisory/team leadership skills
Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment
Team-oriented, easy to work with, and good-humored
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
