Responsibilities
Lead bid preparation by gathering project requirements and setting priorities
Build accurate project budgets by reviewing plans, specifications, and cost data
Evaluate changes, additions, and site variables to confirm pricing and scope
Source and negotiate vendor and subcontractor pricing; identify materials and qualified subs
Track and report progress and costs to internal stakeholders
Maintain clear documentation and communication across teams
Supervise onsite field staff including superintendent and foreperson to deliver efficient operations
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and resolve issues
Coordinate schedules, resources, materials, and crews to keep projects on track
Inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles for readiness and safety before shifts
Qualification
Required
8 or more years of construction industry experience with clear estimating exposure
Proven ability to prepare bids and develop project budgets
Strong project management experience with supervisory responsibilities
Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and clients
Valid, unexpired driver's license
Ability to pass employer required drug screening
Preferred
Associate or Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Experience with subcontractor sourcing and negotiation
Familiarity with construction cost reporting tools and estimating software
