Responsibilities

You’ll develop, enhance, and sustain automation tools that support system management infrastructure for HPC platforms running in Linux environments

You’ll write and maintain Bash and Python scripts to eliminate manual processes and improve reliability

You’ll troubleshoot and debug operational issues across infrastructure services

You’ll work with automation frameworks to orchestrate deployments and updates

You’ll support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to continuously improve system performance, documentation, and operational standards

Required

Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus five years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus seven years of experience, or nine years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity

Strong experience using the Linux CLI and Linux system tools

Proven ability to develop Bash scripts to automate manual processes

Recent software development experience using Python

Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug issues in operational systems

Experience with CI/CD principles and tools including GitLab CI and Jenkins

Proficiency with Git for source control

Preferred

Familiarity with datacenter infrastructure management tools such as NetBox

Experience with observability and analytics platforms like Splunk

Exposure to identity and access management solutions such as Keycloak

Familiarity with secret management tools including HashiCorp Vault

Experience with message brokers such as Kafka

Working knowledge of container technologies including Docker, Podman, or containerd

Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments

Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
