The Production Engineer will manage profitability and production across assets, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to design and optimize artificial lift systems and maintain communication with field operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with field operations team to optimize base production and reduce downtime

Create AFE’s for flowbacks, workovers, recompletions, and well maintenance operations

Lead regularly scheduled well reviews with field operations and reservoir engineers

Track and monitor LOE, workover and capital spending to meet budget or exceed targets and KPI’s

Diagnose root cause of surface and subsurface failures, develop solutions, evaluate economics, execute procedures, and perform lookbacks to improve systematic and reoccurring failures

Monitor well and economic performance, conduct reservoir surveillance to create development plans to maximize asset value

Ensure compliance with all HSE and regulatory requirements

Perform other duties as assigned
