Assistant Business Office Manager
Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assistant Business Office Manager to help manage financial and administrative operations at their skilled nursing facility in Independence. The role involves overseeing billing, collections, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient operations within the healthcare setting.

Responsibilities
Manage daily census records and billing entries in PCC (PointClickCare)
Ensure timely posting of room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges
Assist with private pay billing and centralized statement processing
Support the Medicare RUG Billing Triple Check process
Handle collections, Medicare ADRs, and appeals per policy
Maintain accurate Resident Fund records and coordinate with care teams
Follow daily, weekly, and month-end business office checklists
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care business office required
Familiarity with healthcare billing systems (especially PCC)
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and relevant healthcare regulations
Preferred
Associate degree in Business or Accounting
