Responsibilities

Under the direction of the department Team Leader and in coordination with Medical and Administrative Director and Laboratory Managers, perform basic technical and clerical duties in the lab section including but not limited to: specimen receipt, specimen acceptability and specimen processing

Qualification

Phlebotomy certificationMedical Assistant certificationMicrobiology experienceHigh School diplomaClerical duties

Required

Successful completion of High School or equivalency required

Combination of education and experience as a microbiology specimen processor/lab assistant equivalent for at least 6 months accepted

Up to and including one year experience

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Preferred

Certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant
