They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair properties, perform in-unit maintenance services, and respond to emergencies while ensuring a safe environment for residents.

Responsibilities
Perform general residential work orders as assigned by the Facilities Director or Property Manager
Patch and paint common areas and interior units within buildings
Conduct light HVAC duties, including in-unit HVAC filter changes and basic troubleshooting
Clean and paint non-operating mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical outlets or circuits
Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, drain lines, p-traps, and shower/bathtub valves, including cartridge replacements and snaking drains
Perform carpentry work, such as installing baseboards and door casings, repairing cabinetry, assembling furniture and shelving, and performing flooring repairs or replacements
Repair windows and doors as needed
Procure, load, unload, and move materials, and run errands for the Maintenance Department
Assist in performing preventive maintenance work orders
Conduct life safety alarm system checks, including replacing carbon monoxide and smoke alarms
Maintain preparedness for emergency response, including flood, fire, power outages, earthquakes, and other disasters
Respond promptly to property emergencies as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a residential setting, such as apartments or condos
Ability to work on-call as needed, demonstrating responsiveness and reliability in urgent situations
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required
Preferred
Good knowledge of local city property compliance mandates (preferred but not required)
