Responsibilities
Own preparation, painting, and detailing of carbon fiber military aircraft
Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces of aircraft components to ensure optimal adhesion of paint
Apply primers, paints, and finishes using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, or rolling
Work closely with Mach’s engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver components that meet MILSPEC aerospace specifications
Maintain and clean painting equipment, booths, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Comply with safety rules and procedures and be alert for unsafe conditions
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
3+ years of experience painting car bodies or aircraft
Experience with advanced paint processes and products (bondo, acrylics, enamels, solvent-based, urethanes, and epoxies)
Experience with various painting techniques, including paint sprayers, brushes, etc
