InternStock Yards Bank & Trust is a financial institution with multiple locations across Kentucky and nearby regions. They are seeking an IT Intern to support the team in completing an annual computer refresh project and assist with various IT functions.
Responsibilities
Supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures
Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
Work with SYB IT Team to image and deploy desktops & laptops
Work with users to transfer data and setup new device
Working in Active Directory
Working with end point management software
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Education: High School or GED Equivalent
Experience: Some knowledge of desktop/laptops, Windows OS and Office Software
Specific Skills: Detail oriented, Self-motivated, Dependable, Timely
Demonstrate initiative and active listening skills
Ability to analyze a problem and sense something is either wrong or likely to go wrong
Use critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of various solutions
Communicate effectively through writing and speaking
Professional appearance and demeanor
Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary work performed in an office environment
Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer
Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with clients, team members, and vendors via phone, video, and in person
Visual acuity sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents, and financial data
Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching
Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies)
