Catapult Employers Association is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Web Developer who specializes in high-performance WordPress development using the Kadence WP ecosystem. The role focuses on bridging high-end UI/UX design with technical engineering to create accessible and fast web experiences.

Responsibilities

Architect and build high-converting landing pages and full-site themes using Kadence, ensuring 1:1 fidelity from Figma designs

Develop custom Gutenberg blocks, extend Kadence elements via hooks/filters, and write clean PHP, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript

Build and maintain complex integrations with Salesforce/Pardot using Gravity Forms, WP Forms, and custom API endpoints

Manage Cloudflare at the Edge (Workers, APO, Page Rules) to ensure sub-second load times and 100/100 Core Web Vitals

Ensure all builds meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA standards, utilizing ARIA labels and semantic HTML for full ADA compliance

Harden WordPress environments and modify existing plugin code to remove bloat or patch specific security vulnerabilities

Expert-level Kadence Blocks Pro and Kadence Theme mastery

Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, Zapier, and Salesforce lead routing

Advanced Cloudflare management (CDN, WAF, Speed Optimization)

Deep understanding of WCAG, ADA, and ARIA implementation

A proven track record of solving problems with code rather than searching for a new plugin

You understand how DOM depth, script execution, and image compression impact rankings

You don't just follow a design; you understand user flow, hierarchy, and interactive states

Experience with server-side hardening and WordPress security best practices

Preferred

Experience leveraging LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and automate code documentation

Familiarity with AI-driven content APIs or integrating AI chatbots into WordPress
