Responsibilities
Support planning, coordination, and execution of the mechanical package
Assist with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, O&M manuals, and as-built documentation
Coordinate daily activities of mechanical subcontractors with field supervision
Track quantities, production, and installation progress. Support inspections, testing, and quality control documentation
Assist with the procurement of mechanical equipment and tracking of long-lead items
Support cost tracking, forecasting, and change management activities
Participate in startup, commissioning, and system turnover activities
Promote jobsite safety and compliance with project safety plans
Qualification
Required
2–6 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role
Experience supporting mechanical scopes on water or wastewater treatment facilities
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and specifications
Familiarity with pumps, valves, piping systems, and treatment process equipment
Basic understanding of commissioning, testing, and system turnover
Working knowledge of construction cost control and change management
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Equivalent field experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Effective communication with field crews, subcontractors, and engineers
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Ability to manage multiple priorities in an active treatment plant environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience with CMiC, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems
