Responsibilities
Measure, mark, and cut materials according to work orders, drawings, or patterns
Operate cutting tools and machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures
Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company standards
Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or production concerns to supervisors
Meet production schedules and quality standards consistently
Support continuous improvement efforts by following best practices and operational guidelines
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read measurements, work orders, and basic drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred
Previous experience as a cutter or in a production or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with cutting tools and industrial machinery
Prior experience working in safety-sensitive environments
