Responsibilities

Supporting development and execution of budgets, spend plans, and funding profiles

Tracking obligations, expenditures, and burn rates

Preparing financial reports and briefings for program leadership

Supporting coordination of funding actions

Assisting with requirements prioritization based on available resources

Identifying funding risks or execution issues

Supporting preparation and review of funding documentation

Reconciling financial data across multiple sources

Supporting end-of-month (EOM), quarterly, and annual financial reporting

Assisting with audits, reviews, and data calls

Collaborating closely with program managers, acquisition personnel, contracting offices, and technical teams to ensure financial data aligns with program plans, contract actions, and execution timelines

Providing financial insight and recommendations to leadership to support cost control, schedule alignment, and successful execution of PM Synthetic Environment objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting financial management or budget analysis within a DoD or Federal environment

Demonstrated experience with budget planning and execution

Demonstrated experience with tracking obligations and expenditures

Demonstrated experience with financial reporting and reconciliation

Demonstrated experience with coordination with program and contracting personnel

Demonstrated experience with use of financial tracking tools and spreadsheets

Must have Secret Clearance

Preferred

Experience supporting PM Synthetic Environment, PEO STRI, PM CT2, or DoD training programs

Familiarity with DoD financial management processes and timelines

Familiarity with program and acquisition funding coordination

Familiarity with financial reporting for complex, multi-line programs

DAU coursework or certifications in Financial Management or Program Management
