The EDI Business & Projects Analyst will apply expertise in EDI and project management to prepare business requirement documents, manage projects, and support system processes to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities

EDI Business Requirement Document (BRD) preparation & analysis
Business Process Analysis, Mapping EDI processes, Structural analysis, Integration with partners like terminals, vendors, customers , depots, IMS, Portals on x.12/EDI fact/XML/API/Proprietary EDIs
Process flow charting on Business processes
QA system Testing & Participation for Milestone and Hyper care before or after Go-Live
ECommerce business flow from customers, vendors perspective to Carrier or vice versa (Booking to Shipping instruction, Customer Codes Mapping)
Create System and EDI processes flowchart by Visio
Share-point user support
Support EDI file traffic monitor & file interchanges in FTP/SFTP/Email
Performing system analysis for enhancement
Monitor and follow up system developments and enhancements
Testing of system enhancements
Assisting Implementation & Support Manager on new system implementations, business process projects, new products, module, functionalities, etc
Support digital projects and integrations and content management Internal/External Website
Plan, schedule and execute projects
Absorb and spread knowledge from Head Office Global Implementation and business units
Assist Commercial Implementation & Support Manager to enforce ZIM’s Best Practice, procedures, and business processes

Qualification

Required

BS in Computer Science or relevant discipline or Post-graduate Certificate of IT
5+ years' experience Business and System Analysis experience
Experience in in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and API
Extensive Knowledge of Various EDI Standards (UN-Edifact, X.12 Ansi and XML)
Project management experience
Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Proficient in problem approaching & trouble-shooting
Knowledge in requirement gathering, document preparation, QA, UAT and Support in relevant systems

Preferred

Experience in Business Process Flow and Container Shipping Industry Knowledge is an advantage
