Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and implement public safety software solutions
Develop software independently and as part of a team, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
Write new code as the primary responsibility of the position
Conduct unit, functional, and performance testing
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards and quality
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Provide technical support to client support teams and assist with problem analysis
Analyze business requirements and estimate effort for design and development tasks
Participate in interviews, technical guidance, and mentoring for junior developers
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
Support the SDLC process and Agile delivery methodologies
Qualification
Required
Five or more years of experience in professional software development
Strong expertise in Java and Java server-side development with Spring Boot
Experience building RESTful APIs and working with Typescript
Hands-on experience with Angular for interactive user interfaces
Strong experience with Node and backend JavaScript or Typescript services
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based architectures
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and application maintenance skills
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Senior-level development experience in complex environments
Expertise in Angular with component-based architecture and best practices
Good understanding of technologies related to voice and video communication
